Traditional Scottish Wedding Photography by Rebecca Dawe

The heavy Scottish rain didn’t dampen spirits in the slightest during the Wedding of Julie and Michael at Balgeddie House Hotel in Glenrothes, Fife. The Groom and his family looked dashing in traditional Scottish dress with the bridesmaids, Michael’s daughter and Julie’s niece in deep burgundy. The little ones wore gorgeous, delicate pink with fur stoles and ballerina shoes.

Julie looked stunning in her lace topped dress with chiffon bolero, carrying a beautiful bouquet of deep red roses. There was a yummy choice of courses at the Wedding breakfast including our favourite, Haggis Neeps and Chappit Tatties with Onion Whisky Sauce. In the evening the dance floor was heaving to the sounds of a traditional Ceilidh Band with everyone partying well into the wee hours.
