I am currently pregnant with my first long awaited child and throughout my pregnancy I have been looking for unique and special ways in which to remember this wonderful experience and to share with my child as they grow up. Like many others, I have made a scrapbook diary of my pregnancy starting with that first positive pregnancy test, the confirmation from the midwife, the first scan pictures and those little comments about the first cravings and feeling of those first movements.

My husband and I have described the way in which we have been choosing possible names, the colour scheme and theme for the nursery and the first outfit our baby will wear. Like many others we are looking for a variety of ways in which to capture the precious moments of this pregnancy – we have produced a clay mould of my bump, and taken bump measurements weekly to show my first born just how quickly they grew.
